Two international webinars on diagnosis and management of Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD) will take place online on April 30 and October 8, 2026.
The Scientific Seminars International Foundation (SSIF) announced two international educational activities in the field of Paediatric Endocrinology during 2026, focusing on the diagnosis and management of growth disorders. These events are part of the program “Digital Learning Journey in Growth Disorders: Digital Health and Technologies for Better Patient Outcomes”, aimed at promoting scientific exchange and continuing medical education in this field.
The first webinar, “The importance of a correct diagnosis: Who, how and when to test for GHD”, will take place on April 30, 2026. This session will address the diagnostic challenges of Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD), including its identification across different stages of life—from the neonatal period to adolescence and transition to adulthood—highlighting the importance of accurate diagnosis for timely treatment and proper follow-up.
The second webinar, “Tackling adherence problems in patients with GHD”, will be held on October 8, 2026. This activity will focus on one of the major challenges in GHD management: treatment adherence. Experts will discuss strategies to identify patients with poor adherence and the role of patient support programs, digital technologies and artificial intelligence in improving therapeutic outcomes.
Both webinars are designed for paediatricians, endocrinologists and paediatric endocrinologists. The sessions will be delivered in English with simultaneous translation into Spanish and Korean. Participation is free of charge but requires registration on the SSIF e-learning platform.
