New Clinical Practice Guideline on Central Precocious Puberty

The Endocrine Society has published a new clinical practice guideline on central precocious puberty, together with a supporting systematic review.

The Latin American Society for Pediatric Endocrinology (SLEP) informs its members about the publication of the guideline “Central Precocious Puberty: An Endocrine Society Clinical Practice Guideline”, now available online for the medical and scientific community.

The publication of this guideline is a relevant update for professionals dedicated to pediatric endocrinology, particularly in the diagnostic, clinical, and therapeutic approach to central precocious puberty.

Alongside the clinical practice guideline, the systematic review “A Systematic Review Supporting the Clinical Practice Guidelines on Central Precocious Puberty” has also been published, providing supporting evidence for the development of the clinical recommendations.

In addition to the guideline, panel members have developed derivative resources for patients, clinicians, and stakeholders. These materials are available on the Endocrine Society resource page dedicated to central precocious puberty.

SLEP highlights the importance of disseminating this new guideline among its members, as well as the value of international collaborative work in the development of evidence-based clinical documents. The contribution of Dr. Fernando Cassorla and the institutional support of participating organizations are especially recognized in this process.
