SLEP supports the dissemination of this virtual course on diagnosis, treatment, and technology applied to pediatric diabetes.
Registration is now open for the 2nd Latin American Course on Type 1 Diabetes in Pediatrics, an academic program focused on comprehensive evidence-based updates for the diagnosis, treatment, and use of technology applied to pediatric diabetes.
The course will begin on July 2, 2026, and will last 16 weeks, with a total workload of 30 hours. It will be delivered in a synchronous and asynchronous virtual format, allowing participation from professionals across Latin America and other regions.
The activity is intended for pediatricians, general practitioners, diabetologists, endocrinologists, clinicians, registered dietitians/nutritionists, and nurses, as well as other healthcare professionals interested in strengthening their knowledge of type 1 diabetes in pediatric patients.
The program will feature more than 25 leading Latin American faculty members in pediatric diabetes, offering a regional, interdisciplinary, and updated perspective on the clinical, therapeutic, and technological challenges involved in the care of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes.
This activity is organized by the Pediatric Diabetes Working Committee of the Argentine Diabetes Society (SAD), together with the Latin American Society for Pediatric Endocrinology (SLEP).
